Ordinary East Anglia is an ongoing, long term, most likely never ending project which seeks to capture the banal, ordinary and under appreciated beauty of East Anglia. Landscape photography is plentiful in Norfolk and Suffolk, objectively beautiful images of windmills, swans and the coast at sunset are abundant. Subjectively however, I find these types of image to be cliche and uninteresting. This project searches for the in-betweens and the overlooked, interesting for a reason not immediately obvious. This page isn’t so much a curated collection, more of a visual journal that hopes to collate anything 'interesting’ that I come across with no real theme in mind. I’ve made some rough pairings of images, many of which were taken years apart, and I will continue adding, rearranging as time goes on. I hope that by keeping it loose and not tying myself to any particular theme, this will be an enjoyable ongoing body of work to keep my creativity in check.

There are many other photos under the same title on my instagram, searching #ordinaryeastanglia on instagram will show you the way.
